Covid Vaccination Appointments

We are pleased to announce that we are in the process of sending out appointment letters to the first group of eligible patients (those aged over 80). Where possible we have tried to prioritise those at highest risk from complications of Covid 19 within this group, however we also have to ensure that every clinic we run is filled to ensure no vaccine is wasted.

We will be commencing with the vaccinations from the 30th December at the East Cheltenham Fire station and would plan to vaccinate all patients within the over 80 group before starting to invite the next group of eligible patients.

We are working as a collective team across the Cheltenham Surgeries to deliver this programme 7 days a week while still maintaining our normal care.

This video shows you how the site is setup so you can see how the flow will work when you get your vaccination:

For those patients resident within a care home, we have shared information and consent forms with each home and they should now have shared with patients and their families/representatives.

If you have not yet received this information please contact the care home directly in the first instance. We would then plan to visit and vaccinate within each care home.

Our housebound patients will be contacted separately to discuss how they will be vaccinated.

Please do not call the surgery to query when you will receive an invitation as this prevents our staff dealing with patients for their day to day medical care.
