Katie Reid (f) – Lead Nurse RGN

Katie joined the surgery in 2017 and is now Lead Nurse for the team. Katie enjoys all treatment room procedures such as child vaccinations and immunisations, wound care and injections. She also is able to see patients for cytology screening, contraception and travel assessments. She reviews patients with long term conditions with a specialist interest in Asthma and Spirometry (with ARTP qualification)

Wendy Brimfield (f) – Practice Nurse RGN

Wendy carries out all treatment room procedures. Wendy is a wound care lead and a cancer care lead. She carries out child vaccinations and immunisations, blood tests and injections. Additionally, Wendy does women’s health checks and warfarin monitoring.

Danni carries out technical treatment room duties including ECG’s, spirometry, weight management, blood tests and blood pressure monitoring as well as supporting the Practice Nurses in their developing role.

Nicola Hayward (f)

Nicola carries out technical treatment room duties including ECG’s, weight management, blood tests and blood pressure monitoring as well as supporting the Practice Nurses in their developing role.

Caroline Hayhurst (f)

Caroline joined the team as a permanent staff member in 2020, although she has been providing the surgery with her phlebotomy skills for many years through the hospital contract. Caroline’s working days are Tuesday- Thursday afternoons.
