Telephone Appointments

We recognise that many things don’t require a face to face appointment.  Not coming to the surgery saves you time, is more convenient for you and eases congestion in our car park. We are pleased to be able to offer telephone appointments every day.

You may be given a window of time, similar to when you book a delivery, during which the doctor will call. We respectfully ask that you ensure you are able to answer your nominated number during this time.

Receptionists do not interrupt doctors during their surgeries to answer queries, however a duty doctor is available to to triage urgent medical symptoms.

Improved Access Appointments

There are weekday evening and weekend appointments available at the surgery or another surgery. Find out more about the improved access service.

I want to see someone in an emergency. What do I do?

For same day appointment requests please telephone reception before 11:30. It helps our skilled receptionists, many of whom have completed care navigation training, direct you appropriately if you can answer some basic questions and share you requirements with them.

All our staff work under strict confidentiality guidelines. Depending on your request a member of clinical staff may call you back for more details before allocating you the correct appointment or advice.
