Leckhampton Surgery is pleased to announce that over the next few months we will be developing an extended & improved service, offering travel advice and healthcare to private patients as well as to our existing patients.

We are recruiting a new nurse to help us provide this service, and will provide a range of services, from simple advice to tailored health care vaccination programmes, malaria treatments and travel packs.

We will continue to provide a high quality private travel health service to our own registered patients (providing NHS vaccinations when this is possible) and will be extending this service to any traveller who requires health care or advice for their trip.

Opening Hours

Our telephones lines are open from 8.30am until 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

Our reception desk is open  from 8.30am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday

Although we offer routine booked appointments before 8.30am, after 6.30pm on Wednesdays and on alternate Saturday mornings, we do not have reception cover at these times, as the surgery is only open for routine pre-booked appointments during these hours.

The surgery offers routine appointments at the following times:-

clock

Monday:07:30 to 18:30
Tuesday:07:30 to 18:30
Wednesday:08:00 to 20:00
Thursday:08:00 to 18:30
Friday:07:30 to 18:30
Saturday:08:00 to 11:00
1st and 3rd Saturday of each month

Extended Hours

We offer apppointments until 8:00 pm on Wednesdays and from 8:00 to 11:00 am on the first and third Saturday morning of each month. These appointments are for routine matters only: for any urgent care during these hours you should contact the Out of Hours service in the usual way by telephoning 08454 220220.

Please note that because there is no hospital laboratory collection service during these extended hours, the doctors can’t take blood samples, swabs or smears during these appointments. They are happy to see patients for any routine matters but if any of these tests are required, you will need a follow-up appointment with a nurse or phlebotomist during our normal working hours between 8.00 am and 6.00pm.

The surgery is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. If you have an urgent medical need when we are closed, please telephone 08454 220220
