Long Term Conditions Service
We are fortunate to have a fantastic team of long term condition nurses. If you have one of the following conditions you will be part of our annual recall system:
Chronic kidney disease
Peripheral vascular disease
High blood pressure
You should be called for review near to or in your birthday month. If more than one month has passed please call reception and ask for a message about this to be passed to Catherine, our review coordinator. You could also email Catherine.firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then fit you in as soon as we can.

Dr Pascoe-Watson is a GP with Special Interest (GPwSI) in ENT. He offers an ENT Clinic to patients from other surgeries who can be referred to him by their own GP. This clinic is run on a Monday morning. Dr Pascoe-Watson does of course also see our own patients for ENT problems, along with Dr Nick Hall.
Our nurses run INR testing and dosing clinics at the surgery. Please book through reception.
NHS Cervical Screening
You will receive notification to book a smear from NHS screening. Please book via reception with our nurses. It is important you let reception know the reason for your appointment so the correct paperwork, appointment length and nurse can be arranged for you.
For pill checks – if you are happy with your pill choice you will need an annual review with our family planning nurse to continue to receive repeat prescriptions
If you wish to discuss a change in method of contraception please book with a doctor.

All antenatal checks are now done by the community midwife, unless you are higher risk and seen at the hospital. The midwife visits the surgery on Thursdays and appointments can be booked via reception.

These clinics are led by our Community Midwifery team and are held with our Practice
For their own personal reasons, Drs Cox, Goodrum and Hay do not directly refer women on for termination but are happy to be involved in supporting and counselling women who find themselves unexpectedly pregnant. They will always ensure that an onward referral to another doctor in the practice is arranged if a referral is required.
